< > Effective - 28 Aug 1990, 3 histories, see footnote (history)217.655. Probation and parole board, general duties. — 1. The board of probation and parole shall be responsible for determining whether a person confined in the department shall be paroled or released conditionally as provided by section 558.011. The board shall provide supervision to all persons referred by the circuit courts of the state as provided by sections 217.750 and 217.760.
2. The board shall provide such programs as necessary to carry out its responsibilities consistent with its goals and statutory obligations.
