License required — separate license for assisted living facilities administrators, limitations of license. — No person shall act or serve in the capacity of a nursing home administrator without first procuring a license from the Missouri board of nursing home administrators as provided in sections 344.010 to 344.100. The board may issue a separate license to administrators of assisted living facilities, as defined in section 198.006, RSMo. Any individual who receives a license to operate an assisted living facility is not thereby authorized to operate any intermediate care facility or skilled nursing facility as those terms are defined in section 198.006, RSMo.
