Access to central repository by private entities responsible for probation services — restrictions. — Notwithstanding section 610.120, the sheriff of any county, the sheriff of the city of St. Louis, and the judges of the circuit courts of this state may make available, for review, information obtained from the central repository to private entities responsible for probation supervision pursuant to sections 559.600 to 559.615. When the term of probation is completed or when the material is no longer needed for purposes related to the probation, it shall be returned to the court or destroyed. The private entities shall not use or make this information available to any other person for any other purpose.
