  565.190.  Until December 31, 2016 — Duty to report, immunity. — Any person, official or institution complying with the provisions of section 565.188 in the making of a report, or in cooperating with the department in any of its activities pursuant to sections 565.186 and 565.188, except any person, official or institution violating section 565.180, 565.182 or 565.184, shall be immune from any civil or criminal liability for making such a report, or in cooperating with the department, unless such person acted negligently, recklessly, in bad faith, or with malicious purpose.
