Until December 31, 2016 — Failure to surrender licenses, certain law enforcement officer may seize. — If a person shall neglect or refuse to surrender all operator's and chauffeur's licenses, as provided for in sections 577.500 and 577.505, the director shall direct the state highway patrol or any peace or police officer to secure possession thereof and return such license or licenses to the director.
