Title XII PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELFARE

Department of health and senior services may delegate powers. — The department of health and senior services may designate to act for it, with full authority of law, any instrumentality of any political subdivision of the state of Missouri deemed by the department of health and senior services to be competent, to investigate and inspect licensees and applicants for a license. Local inspection of child care facilities may be accomplished if the standards employed by local personnel are substantially equivalent to state standards and local personnel are available for enforcement of such standards.
