Title XXXI TRUSTS AND ESTATES OF DECEDENTS AND PERSONS UNDER DISABILITY
< > • Effective - 28 Aug 1955473.193. Inquiry into condition of sureties — order for new bond. — If the judge has reasonable grounds to believe that a surety on the bond of any executor or administrator has died, removed from the state or is or likely to become insolvent or that the principal on the bond is likely to become insolvent or is wasting the estate or that the bond was not taken according to law, he at any time, either on his own motion or on the motion of an interested party, including a surety, may set a time and place for examination into the matters and shall give notice thereof to the principal in the bond. The court, after such hearing, may direct the executor or administrator to give another bond.
