< > Effective - 28 Aug 2005, 3 histories, see footnote (history)*575.205. Until December 31, 2016 — Tampering with electronic monitoring equipment. — 1. A person commits the crime of tampering with electronic monitoring equipment if the person intentionally removes, alters, tampers with, damages, or destroys electronic monitoring equipment which a court or the board of probation and parole has required such person to wear.
2. This section does not apply to the owner of the equipment or an agent of the owner who is performing ordinary maintenance or repairs on the equipment.
3. The crime of tampering with electronic monitoring equipment is a class C felony.
