< > Effective - 28 Aug 1989, 2 histories, see footnote (history)*217.542. Until December 31, 2016 — Failure to return to house arrest, felony. — 1. An offender of the department released to the house arrest program commits the crime of failure to return to house arrest if he purposely fails to return to his place of residence or activity authorized by subsection 3 of section 217.541 when he is required to do so.
2. Failure to return to house arrest is a class D felony.
