319.016. Notification center participant, commission not required to be, when. — Notwithstanding any provision of sections 319.010 to 319.050 to the contrary, the state highways and transportation commission shall not be required to be a notification center participant after December 31, 2011, but nothing in this section shall prohibit the commission from voluntarily choosing to be a notification center participant after that date.
