566.218. Restitution required for certain offenders. — 1. Notwithstanding sections 557.011, 558.019, and 559.021, a person found guilty of violating any provisions of section 566.203, 566.206, 566.209, 566.210, 566.211, 566.212, 566.213, or 566.215 shall be ordered by the sentencing court to pay restitution to the victim of the offense regardless of whether the defendant is sentenced to a term of imprisonment or probation. The minimum restitution ordered by the court shall be in the amount determined by the court necessary to compensate the victim for the value of the victim's labor and/or for the mental and physical rehabilitation of the victim and any child of the victim.
2. Any real or personal property owned by the defendant that was used, attempted to be used, or intended to be used by the defendant in violating a section listed under subsection 1 of this section may be seized. If such property is seized, the property shall be forfeited as provided under section 513.607.
