Transportation of dead body by common carrier, requirements. — No dead human body shall be offered to or accepted by any common carrier for transportation unless it is in a burial case, coffin or casket that is securely closed, and the burial case, coffin, or casket containing the body is in a wooden, metal or metal-lined box that is securely closed, and on the top of the box must appear the name of the deceased, the destination, the time and place of death, the cause of death, the name of the attending physician or coroner, and the name of the person who prepared the body for shipment.
