< > • Effective - 01 Jan 2017, 2 histories, see footnote217.542. Failure to return to house arrest, felony. — 1. An offender of the department released to the house arrest program commits the crime of failure to return to house arrest if he or she purposely fails to return to his or her place of residence or activity authorized by subsection 3 of section 217.541 when he or she is required to do so.
2. Failure to return to house arrest is a class E felony.
