Title XXV INCORPORATION AND REGULATION OF CERTAIN UTILITIES AND CARRIERS
< > Effective - 28 Aug 1939388.130. Furnishing of supplies prohibited, when. — 1. No president, director, officer, agent or employee of any railroad company, or other corporation operating a railroad, shall hereafter be interested in any manner, directly or indirectly, in furnishing materials or supplies to such company; nor shall any such officer, agent or employee of any railroad company, or other corporation owning, controlling or managing a railroad, be interested, directly or indirectly, in the business of transportation as a common carrier of freight or passengers over the works owned, leased, controlled or operated by the corporation or association of which he is an officer, agent or employee.
2. Any president, director, officer, agent or employee of any such railroad company who shall violate any of the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in a sum of not less than two hundred dollars nor more than one thousand dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a term of not less than three months nor more than one year, or by both such fine and imprisonment, and each day any such violation continues shall be a separate offense.
