If tenant sublet, landlord may join sublessees in same actions. — In case any tenant shall sublet any premises or any part thereof demised or let to him, the landlord shall have the right, in any action provided for by this chapter and chapter 535, to join as party defendants his lessee and all sublessees in the same action.
