When prisoner remanded or bailed, evidence to be returned. — When any prisoner shall be let to bail or remanded, all examinations and documents which shall have been produced by the officer or person making the return shall be redelivered to him, the testimony of witnesses examined, the recognizances of all such as testify anything material taken, and, with the examination, duly certified and returned, as required by law in like cases.
