< > • Effective - 01 Jan 2017, see footnote579.086. Unlawful delivery of a controlled substance by manufacturer or distributor — penalty. — 1. A manufacturer or distributor, or an employee of a manufacturer or distributor, commits the offense of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance when he or she knowingly delivers a controlled substance while acting recklessly as to whether the controlled substance will be used in violation of this chapter.
2. The offense of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance by a manufacturer or distributor is a class E felony.
